The Softest Car Wash Mitt Pad
Kamikaze Collection d'Elegance Mitt Mini is the perfect size for car spot washing. One of the issues with natural wool mitts is they lose their softness overtime, microfibre wash mitts aren't always the softest. Kamikaze Collection set out to design a mitt/pad with the best of both longevity from a microfibre mitt and the softness of a wool mitt.
Introducing the d'Elegance Mitt, created from a polyester synthetic hair material which is even more scratch resistant than natural wool, and has almost no deterioration in texture. Kamikaze Collection tested the d'Elegnace Mitt on their demo car, a Daimler Double Six (navy blue) and an NV200 (Nissan Super Black) with soft, scratch-prone paint, comparing "new condition" and "used condition". The product absorb enough shampoo solution without causing any scratches. And dry after rinsing with water after use there was no change in texture in the feel afterward.
The d'Elegnace Mitt also has a sponger inside like the Hagakure Sponge. This allows for fantastic absorption of shampoo but will also release the cleaner when used on the car.
Kamikaze Collection settled on a pad rather than a mitt to reduce the amount of potential scratchy stitching. Also, many detailers prefer to place their hand on top of a mitt anyway making the additional opening redundant. D'Elgance Mitt is the perfect balance of size, softness, and durability.
What's more for most of the paintwork, use the standard size d'Elegance Mitt. Best used with a thicker shampoo.
