Our Story
Our founder, the late Jez Gilman, spotted an opportunity in 1999. Fresh from the parcel courier industry and fuelled by his passion for Porsche, Jez recognised that car enthusiasts needed access to premium detailing products with the fast delivery they deserved. His timing was perfect—the internet was just taking off, and Ultimate Finish became pioneers in online car care retail.
Jez built Ultimate Finish on a simple philosophy: source the absolute best products, deliver them quickly, and treat every customer’s car like it’s your own pride and joy.
Since Jez’s passing in 2020, his vision lives on through his son Max Gilman and business partner Sean Longworth-Smith, who continue to build on the foundation of expertise and customer service that made Ultimate Finish a household name among car enthusiasts.
