"Swap to this filter before any wet extraction work. Running your standard HEPA or paper filter on wet jobs will wreck it immediately. After use, rinse the sponge filter thoroughly under running water and squeeze it out until the water runs clear. Let it air dry completely before storage, otherwise you'll get that musty smell developing. We keep two on rotation so there's always a dry one ready. The sponge compresses slightly when wet but bounces back once dry. If it starts looking tired or develops tears, replace it rather than risk debris getting past into the motor."

How To Use
1. Turn off and unplug vacuum before filter changes.
2. Remove existing filter from filter compartment.
3. Install sponge filter before wet vacuuming tasks.
4. After use, remove and rinse filter thoroughly under running water.
5. Squeeze out excess water and allow to air dry completely.
6. Store dried filter in a clean, dry location until next use.
