Brilliant piece of kit, works very well once you get the hang of it, no more drying towels, game changer

A must for any car/motor/ bike enthusiast. The first and only time I’ve used it so far it’s a must have, I’ve used a compressor in the past for drying bikes etc but this is the right tool for the job, adjustable in all settings and has a heat setting to top it off...if you’ve not got one already don’t hesitate.

Ideal for my needs

The BigBoi BLOWR Mini represents the best price/performance of the entire BigBoi range for the home user who only washes one car a week or so. The higher price versions may be a little faster for an overall job, but the difference will be slight. If money is no object then by all means buy the Mini-Plus or the Pro or Pro-Plus, but I find the Mini to be ideal for my needs.

Very useful!

I do mobile paint repairs and this both blow the water out of the panel gaps and can be used to dry the paint as well. Very useful!

Big boi

Just used my Blower, what an amazing bit of kit. My bike has a lot of places for water to gather big boi got rid of the lot.

Great Machine

I purchased my blower as it had so many good reviews I thought I must get one and try. Never looked back great machine to use with the longer hose.

A portable & versatile little beast.

Bought this after reviewing a few options, inc. going for a real cheapo off Amazon which didn't work at all. Looked as the Buddi but decided that the options available on the Mini was worth the additional money. Money well spent, blew out the computer this morning, as I had the ability to dial down the windspeed. Upped it slightly to a 3rd & blew out the cobwebs from behind kitchen appliances. Gave the car a quick clean using dab/towel method along with the Mini was done in about an hour. Made easy work of drying the Car for me; I am not a fastidious detailer, but love the fact this makes grills/voids/light surrounds/shuts/alloys easy to thoroughly dry. Love it. Mains leading being 5m along with the flexi hoses also had a massive influence on buying this model. UF were fantastic throughout, great communication, availability to answer questions & very speedy trackable delivery. All good.

Been thinking about buying one of these units for a while and finally bought this unit. I’m not disappointed. The quality of the BbigBoi is amazing. Excellent Results

Delighted with this item! This is a fantastic unit to be able to dry your car. I specifically brought it to speed up drying the car after washing and prior to a using a cleaner and waxing. It really comes into its own around the wheels, wheel nuts and those areas that are hard to dry. Also, this isn’t the first time I’ve used UF and would definitely use them again

Excellent product, so powerful that it completely eliminates the water of the vehicles with ceramic coat including harnesses, holes and places of difficult access.

Blew my face off! amazing

Really happy with it. To be honest I think the Mini is plenty good enough. In fact I prefer it because it's easy to pick up and put down, unlike the larger one. The ground can be uneven so wheels not always the best thing to opt for especially if you work on a slope so for a mobile valeter this is perfect. I'm making a youtube video on the Big Boy BlowR as I feel it is superior to the Ebay Alternatives.

Great Bit of kit

This is a great bit of kit, been thinking of getting one for a while but couldn’t justify it until I bit the bullet and got one. It makes it a lot easier when drying and getting the water out of the traps and places that are hard to reach with a towel. Only downside is that you get a rubber nozzle with the small hose adapter but not with the others. Other than that great bit of kit.

Great little tool

Bought this to dry my car as it is ceramic coated and it does a great job. The dryer feels sturdy and well made, the hose is plenty long enough so you don't have to constantly re-position the unit (4 times max whilst drying the car) It comes with 3 attachments for versatility and the air is always filtered and can be delivered warmed which is a real benefit. This product works so much better than a leaf blower and isn't a great deal more expensive. It is also half the price of a Metrovac master blaster and available in the UK with free shipping. The specs of this machine aren't too far off that of the Metrovac (I think around 30mph max wind speed difference and maybe 40mph more than the smaller Sidekick Metrovac) and it dried my car with ease in around 10 mins - Next time I use the dryer I will be a lot quicker as i think I will still use a small drying towel to catch run off in certain areas (window seals etc) as it was a little time consuming chasing every drop of water off the car. Overall I am very satisfied with my purchase and I feel it offers great value for money when stacked against the competition. If you are thinking of using a proper car dryer to avoid adding any swirls or marring to the paint that towel drying risks then I highly recommend this product.

Absolutely fantastic!

I usually use 0 TDS water to rinse my car after washing but the drying time takes more than 4 hours. With the Big Boi, the car is completely spotless and the drying time is reduced to less than half an hour. I am extremely pleased with it indeed!

delighted with my BigBoi BlowR mini

First impressions were excellent, the BlowR looks really well made, and with the various nozzles supplied, looks fit for any drying purpose. The first use was as a very effective snow blower; rather than use a brush or other 'contact' method, I simply switched on the BigBoi and blew all the snow off the car, leaving the car snow free, dry and with no scratches. 2nd use was after I'd washed my new car, and having a good wax finish meant I could simply blow the water beads away, leaving the car spotless. I haven't yet used the BlowR on my motorbike (which is what I bought it for) but have no doubt that the excellent BlowR mini will be more than up to the job. Good for cyclists too; clean your bike and then simply blow all the water away, leaving a perfectly dry bike, ready for next use. The BlowR was a little more expensive than the product I originally intended to buy, but the BlowR has infinitely variable speed, 3 heat settings and I'd say is, without any doubt, worth the extra cost. Overall, I'm absolutely delighted with my BigBoi BlowR mini and would recommend it to anyone.

Just what was needed

After spending time carefully cleaning our 2 cars, using snow foam to shift grime ahead of shampooing and rinsing down etc, it used to drive me insane afterwards to see watermarks appear on the bodywork as water came out of all of the various gaps between lights, filler caps, window channels etc found on modern cars, possibly made worse by living in a hard water area. Not anymore, this contactless dryer is powerful enough to fully dry the car but great at driving out all of the water trapped & held in those gaps. Could probably do with a wider attachment though for blow drying roofs & large panels.

More enjoyable cleaning

Living in a very hard water area and being a car cleaning enthusiast is a difficult combination. For years I have been chamois's then using microfibers, silicone blades and all sorts to dry the car quickly. With limited or no success. Always ending up with smears and water marks and runs especially below mirrors. I bought the Blow R Mini and a water filter. What a difference! So much easier, and much better finish than I ever could achieve before. The Blow R Mini is very powerful and comes with 3 attachments. It would benefit from a wider narrow-slot blade type attachment for doing large body panels more quickly. I found that it was easier to keep a microfiber cloth in one hand whilst using the blower with the other, only because you end up blowing out trapped water over a previously dried panel area, then having to chase it off! If your car bodywork does not bead with water droplets when washed, then it takes a little while to blow dry even on max speed. Invaluable for drying car thoroughly before garaging though. I love using it, and my neighbours all want one!

BigBoi Mini Dryer

This review of the BigBoi Blow R Mini Dryer is based on the first three times of using it so I'm still getting used to how best to dry a vehicle. I have used it on a VW Tiguan, VW Golf and a Porsche Cayman. On the positive side, it is great for drying all the gaps around doors, panels, trim, mirrors etc where water sits then runs if you've dried with a conventional cloth. It is also brilliant for drying wheels and getting the water out of the nut recesses. My slightly negative comment is that I found it more difficult to use on the larger horizontal panels e.g. Roof and Bonnet and seemed to end up chasing water from one side to the other. This could be me getting used to how best to operate the dryer. Also, on the Tiguan, the vehicle had started to dry before I could get to the last side with the BigBoi Dryer so for SUVs maybe the Pro Blower would be more suited. In summary, a useful machine and does make it easier to achieve a dry vehicle but only in combination with a microfibre drying cloth.

I finally bit the bullet and bought this great piece of kit. It takes about the same time to dry the car using the Big Boi mini dryer as using microfiber towels, so you don't really save any time but you at least get to the parts of the car where water likes to hide. It is a lot more powerful than I thought it would be. I thought I might need to buy the longer hose as my car is a large saloon but the standard hose is fine. When drying the door, boot, and bonnet shuts I use a small microfiber towel as well. It might seem excessive to splash out on a dryer for your car but once you have used one you'll see the benefits.

Very handy tool

I bought this because recently I've been doing a lot more with coatings. This blower is great for blowing out all the little nooks and crannies where water hides before correction and coating. Having never previously used a hot air blower to dry a car, I was really surprised with how powerful this blower is and the volume of air that it moves. The Big Boi mini is a fantastic and useful compact blower that saves a lot of time and eliminates water runs. Obviously, it's not an "essential" purchase but it's great if you can justify it!

Extremly Pleased With My first ever contactless wash and dry

First the hard bit. Telling your partner you want a hairdryer for cleaning the cars but if you have a Black Range Rover with plastic trims, you will know you cant leave it to dry naturally and as soon as you touch the plastic trims they scratch. Plan A, use the Big Boi mini to dry the car after normal washing works an absolute treat, even getting to the bits behind the mirror and other hangouts I sometimes pad dry after for speed. Today a contactless wash (snow foam) followed by hydrophobic active snow foam. Quite blown away by the combination. I won't stand up to close scrutiny but without studying and when winter is throwing up salt over the body every day this will be the combination I use. The mini is great for small and medium-sized cars but with a larger car (and the deal being I clean two cars at the same time) I will be upgrading as soon as the larger model is available.
