100% recommend the AVA
Very well built - and as a result its quite heavy. I would say double the weight of a Kaercher K4 for example. But it is in a different league compared to the Kaercher products.
Assembly was relatively easy - even though the instructions are a little vague. The hose real is a great feature. And the hose itself is a good/great length, high quality & non kink. Anyone who has used a Kaercher will know how bad they are. And it was part of the reason I bought the AVA.
There is also a sneaky in-built cable real, which is useful.
The lance connections are pretty standard - so that you can use items such as a different supplier's foam cannon. But they also have a locking feature which takes a bit of getting used too.
The big let-down was the supplied snow cannon.
It was technically free when I bought the pressure washer - as it came with the bundle. The reservoir has a narrow neck so it's difficult to fill from a bulk shampoo container. And the thread of the container is poorly made so it is very difficult to engage. Especially with wet soapy hands. I threw it back in the box. And used my existing foam cannon (Autoglym). Which worked a treat.
The AVA delivers loads of power. But it is easily controlled. The unit is a lot quieter than a Kaercher.
Overall, a great machine. Loads of power and quiet. All in a really well-made package. I would say it is very good value for money. Especially when compared to others.
It was let down by the foam cannon - which I can let slide (just) as it was free. And the locking mechanisms take a little getting used to. But that will be solved the more I use it.
Well recommended.
