Gel-Based Iron Contamination Remover

Iron contamination is usually derived from brake pads: these shred when the brakes are applied causing fine iron particles to become airborne. These hot particles then bond to bodywork and wheels - most cars pick up contamination not only from their own brake pads, but also from the pads of passing cars or the car in front!

Left in place these particles begin to oxidise, expanding as they do so. Untreated they can cause permanent pitting, so removing these particles is therefore an essential part of the detailing process.

Iron Out is a gel-based product which clings to the contamination, breaking them down into a soluble form which can be easily rinsed away without the need for scrubbing. This makes the whole process much safer for paintwork and sensitive wheel finishes.

Directions for use:

• Working up to 4 panels at a time, spray product on to the area
• Allow to dwell for up to 10 minutes (depending on level of contamination)
• Rinse with clean water to remove residue
