Gtechniq offer several ceramic sealants to the end user with some expected to last 4-6 months with a simple spray on formula to those more intricately applied products that can offer up to 5 years protection. Ceramic Sealants will only last as long as the car is cleaned correctly, Pre-Wash, Snow Foam, GritGuards and safe drying technique will all be necessary to prolong the life of any ceramic.
How much ceramic do I need to protect my car?
Typically a 30ml Gtechniq Ceramic bottle will give you enough to coat most cars, with a 50ml bottle required for larger vehicles or for multiple coatings.
Does a Gtechniq Ceramic protect from swirls marks?
Both Yes and No. Yes the coating will offer a harder layer to resistant scratching from the likes of microfibres and wash mitts. But even with the hardest of paints and additional hardness of a CSL or C1 coating the maximum hardness you may find on your car is 3H on the Mohs scale. Grit and sand will fall around 5-6H on this scale so if they are rubbed into the paintwork they will introduce scratching.
