Value for money but not easy to use
Originally bought this for my father as I'm a fan of R222 but price was a factor in this instance and wanted to see how it compared to the Concours Wax.
Used on a Silver Mercedes B Class, Blue Honda Civic and Black Mercedes B Class.
Firstly, you have to really ensure you follow the correct detailing steps when washing the car to get the best performance out of this wax. My dad did the best he could but noticed the performance degrade in only a couple of weeks.
Yesterday I went through the full detailing process on our Black B Class and found that compared to R222 Concours Wax, this is much more difficult to apply and buff off. Also the sponge pad supplied is next to useless and your fingers ache after a few mins - it's too soft and too small.
The results however are fantastic and so far on par with R222's Concours Wax even with only 1 layer applied. Beading and sheeting are excellent and have surprised me for the price of the wax. Good level of gloss but the shine isn't as deep as R222. Unsure of degradation at this stage, will update again in a few weeks.
Would definitely recommend to anyone on a budget!
