How Luke Used Our Products
My car is a 1997 VW golf mk3. It is flash red with body colour Porsche twists. My car wash routine starts with decontaminating the body and wheels with purple haze, I leave this to dwell for a few minutes while I sort the next steps. I then apply snowdrift snow foam (ocd finish) over the whole car and leave to dwell to loosen and remove contaminants and dirt from the car, this is then rinsed off to leave a wash safe surface to continue. I then wash the car using the 2 bucket method (with scratch shields) and a lambโs wool mitt. I have a separate smaller mitt for the wheels. I use banana gloss shampoo as it leaves brilliant results and is wax safe so it doesn't remove any wax layers already on the car. I then dry the car using a microfibre drying towel.
When the car is totally dry I apply a layer of cherry glaze, followed by a layer of project 32 paint sealant. Sometimes I may also apply R222 carnauba wax, depending on how long it has been since the last application.
I then clean the glass inside and out using inspired automotive glass cleaner, and apply hydro shield water repellent to the front screen. Then onto the plastic trims, I have several products for, either Meguiarโs trim restorer, Autobrite bubble-gum trim gel or inspired automotive divine shine. I then use the trim and tyre gel on the walls of the tyres. Then I use auto finesse mint rims wheel wax for the wheels to protect the painted finish on them. I then metal polish the exhaust to finish the exterior. I then use Kleen Freaks interior detailer for all the trim inside and spray with an Autobrite air freshener.
